Welcome!
As we move into this extended absence from school, we want to make sure that you have the tools and resources that you and your family need to stay healthy, stay engaged, and keep learning!
The district is not currently participating in any formal distance learning. The resources listed on this page are optional and will have no impact on student grades, attendance, or promotion status. We've been posting resources to our Facebook and Twitter page, but want to have them available to you in a more organized way. This website is still under development and new tools, features, and resources are being added often. |

Important Information about Meal Distribution
Starting on Monday, Donelson Middle School will be a drive through pick up site for grab and go breakfast and lunch for kids every day! Here are the details you need to know:
-Program is available for all kids under 18, regardless of school status.
-Kids must be present to get meals.
-Each kid will receive a breakfast and lunch AT THE SAME time packed and ready to go. This will be handled in a drive through format.
-Meals will be served from 10:00 to 12:30 Monday through Friday, or until meals run out. The first few days, they will be making adjustments based on demand. Get there early, but if you miss out, come back the next day. They will add capacity until they meet demand. We want every child to eat!
-Pickup will be between Donelson Middle and Hickman Elementary.
Thanks to our community partners at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee and Camp Widjiwagan for making this happen.

Take this time to explore your passions and use the time to express them! When Shakespeare was quarantined, he wrote King Lear. What can you contribute to the world?
And no matter what else, the most important thing to do is to take care of yourselves and each other. Remember how important it is to keep your distance and practice good handwashing skills. Know that things are changing from day to day and minute to minute and I will do my best to keep you in the loop.
